Coffee, water, milk—that's all you need; the machine will do the rest.
The Sage Barista Touch espresso machine is considered a semi-automatic. This means that, apart from step-by-step handling of the portafilter, the machine takes care of everything.
The integrated grinder with a 250 g hopper is easily adjustable and will dispense up to 22 grams of desired grounds cleanly into the filter, thanks to the automatic trigger when the portafilter is in place.
Once the coffee is ground, you can tamp your grounds with the detachable tamper located on the side of the machine.
The coffee side is also well equipped in terms of settings, allowing you to control the temperature as well as the infusion time of your coffee.
The machine will then perform your extraction as you programmed it, leaving you only to enjoy.
Easy-to-use digital touchscreen
The Sage Barista Touch features a digital touchscreen that lets you simply and easily choose the drink you want to enjoy.
The associated icons help you quickly find the drink you crave, with 5 pre-programmed drinks: americano, espresso, latte, flat white and cappuccino.
Making an americano is a good example of the fully automated process: this drink is made from a double espresso, then the separate hot-water outlet fills the cup with hot water.
A simple drink to choose, to make, and as good as at the café.
8 drink profiles for the whole family and rapid heating
The Sage Barista Touch espresso machine allows you to customize up to 8 drink profiles.
Once your drink is programmed, you can name it as you like so that every family member has their own drink available at the click of a button.
Thanks to the PID that controls temperature and the OPV that ensures constant pressure, the drink preparation is always perfect. With its innovative heating system, the ThermoJet, the Sage Barista Touch reaches the optimal extraction temperature in just 3 seconds.
Latte art: child's play thanks to the automatic steam wand
As many are fans, Sage has also equipped this machine with its famous automatic milk foaming system. Thanks to the included milk jug, there's no need for extra equipment. Operating the machine is simple, just adjust the texture of foam you want for your drink (or let the pre-set programs handle it), then place the jug.
A probe is on the drip tray, allowing the machine to master the exact temperature to give you perfect milk foam with the texture you expect.
You can set the temperature and the desired foam texture, then all that's left is to create beautiful latte art in your cup.
Accessories and maintenance
Accessories: Stainless steel milk jug, cleaning disc, cleaning tablets, tamper, single-cup pressurized filter, double-cup pressurized filter, single-cup single filter, double-cup single filter, filter cartridge with holder, cleaning brush, precision dosing tool "The Razor", steam wand cleaning tool, stainless tamper (detachable, placed on the side of the machine).
To extend the life of your Sage espresso machine and for better in-cup results, it's recommended to use a filter cartridge (or already filtered water).
