Patented S2C (Spike to Cut) burrs

Timemore worked on a new burr design for the Chestnut X.
Conicalburrs made of stainless steel(type SUS 440) of42 mmwith the patentedS2C(Spike to Cut) design. These unique burrs cut the coffee beans into large particles before grinding them completely. According to Timemore, these burrs also ensure that the silver skin of the coffee beans does not end up in the grind, whichreduces bitternessand provides better clarity in the cup.

These robust burrs allow you to grind your coffee without too much effort, more quickly and above all, to obtain auniform grind. 

A dual adjustment system: 120 positions in total

With the Chestnut X, Timemore offers a second patented innovation with its second adjustment system for greater precision.

Thegrind adjustmentis done by clicks, with a steel dial located below the grinder.
The main dial offers a choice of23 macro adjustments. 
The innovation lies in themicro adjustmentsthat you can make with the additional small dial: 5 settings possible between each macro click,a total of 120 clicks for ultra-precise grind adjustment ! 

The Chestnut X allows you to grind your coffee for your preferred methods: espresso, slow coffee, filter, French press... It will become the best friend of many coffee lovers!

A solid and well-designed grinder

The Timemore Chestnut X has kept the features that earned the G1 model the prestigious Reddot Design Award 2017: the body of the grinder is made from a single piece ofsolid aluminum. It is round on the inside but square on the outside for better grip.

Theretractable handleis very useful for saving space, at home or when traveling. The system is solid, and the operation is very pleasant.

Adual ball bearing systemsecures the central shaft to ensure burr stability and grind consistency.

The grinder is filled from the top by removing the handle. The maximum capacity for whole bean coffee is 30 g.

Timemore has really usedquality materialsthroughout the Chestnut X.
Thegrind containeris all aluminum like the body of the grinder. It screws onto the bottom of the grinder body and clicks into place foradded security. 

The lid on top of the grinder and the knob of the handle are also made ofaluminum. 

The handle, the ball bearing system, and the central shaft are made ofstainless steel. 

In terms of style, you will find the brand logo on the outside of the grinder incopper, with "Chestnut X" engraved.

The Timemore Chestnut X grinder comes in an elegant box withits own pouch to allow you to carry it everywhere and a cleaning brush.

Care advice: Always clean the grinder with a small brush, never use water.
