PELLINI Caffè Crema Intensa whole-bean coffee is, like many coffees in its range, one of the must-haves among Italian whole-bean coffees. The brand has received numerous awards for its coffees thanks to its attention to detail in coffee production.
This coffee contains 60 % arabica and 40 % robusta. The roasting process is particularly slow compared to current methods, allowing the beans to cook evenly and according to their individual characteristics.
Enjoy a rich and aromatic taste as well as a powerful coffee that will make you love or rediscover Italian coffee. Do not hesitate to use it for your milk-based drinks (cappuccino, latte macchiato).
Pellini, a quality whole-bean coffee brand
The roasting of Pellini coffee is carried out extremely slowly and at tightly controlled temperatures according to the type of bean being processed. These artisanal precautions fit consistently into the Quality Project implemented by the company, which decided to achieve the desired results by respecting the raw material without resorting to any forced actions of any kind.
The bean is roasted uniformly, from the core to the outer coating, through a gradual heating process. The roasting is done with hot air, without the beans coming into contact with any metal. A stream of air keeps the coffee suspended as it floats.
Cooling is also done by air. Afterward, the beans rest in special silos for decanting. Through careful examination, twenty qualified judges compare the taste and aroma of the coffee. Using all the senses, they can detect subtle taste variations: from smell to visual appearance, the coffee undergoes meticulous control, and only with the judges’ approval will it be ready for distribution.
