Features of the Octave French press
The Octave French press from the brand OGO Living is a perfect coffee maker for those who need a reasonable amount of coffee at once. Half a liter is perfect when living as a couple or living alone but being a good coffee consumer.
The jug is made of borosilicate glass, perfectly heat-resistant. Its beechwood lid also ensures good heat retention inside the body of the coffee maker. Finally, the stainless steel plunger allows you to prepare coffee without taste alteration.
Why choose a French press with double-wall glass?
Most French presses - not to say almost all - have a handle to hold and pour the coffee. With this double-wall coffee maker, this is not necessary. The double wall has a double advantage: it allows you to hold the coffee maker by the body without risk of burning yourself, and allows you to admire the infusion and the color of your coffee through the body of the object. The same principle applies to double-wall glasses - which will perfectly match the design of your new French press.
An easy-to-use French press
If this French press is so appealing, it's both for its delicate and natural design, and for its ease of use. Pour the equivalent of one teaspoon of ground coffee (be sure to select a suitable grind) per coffee cup into your jug. Cover with 90 ml of hot non-boiling water per coffee cup. Let steep for 4 to 5 minutes while admiring the process through the double wall of the coffee maker. Once the infusion phase is complete, slowly and steadily press the plunger all the way down, and serve.
