Bezzera Aria Top PID espresso machine
A very complete espresso machine for baristas
The Bezzera Aria Top PID is a traditional espresso machine very complete, designed to delight coffee geeks! It features a boiler with heat exchanger, an E61 lever group fed by a thermosiphon system.
This setup ensures thermal stability identical to a commercial espresso machine.
The rotary pump provides uniform and quiet pressure delivery.
The Bezzera ARIA Top PID can be installed anywhere, with its large 3-liter reservoir. It is also plumbable to the water line.
It is equipped with a flow regulator to change brewing pressure by turning the adjustment handle on top of the brew group.
A digital screen gives access to the PID to adjust the extraction temperature. You can also set the boiler temperature. During coffee extraction, the screen displays a timer that measures the shot time.
This Bezzera coffee machine is assembled in Italy with professional-grade components. It will let you make great coffees and beautiful milk drinks like a café machine, and also fine-tune your settings to suit different specialty coffees.
This prosumer espresso machine requires a suitable espresso grinder to achieve good in-cup results.

The dual manometer on the front panel showing boiler pressure and pump pressure during extraction.
This coffee machine has a large 3 L water reservoir and a 1.5 L copper boiler.
The cup warmer will be useful for preheating your cups and avoiding thermal shock during extraction.
Note: Before using the flow regulator, you will need to assemble the handle and the supplied pressure gauge.
The Bezzera Aria Top PID is delivered in RESERVOIR mode. To convert it to PLUMBED mode, please follow the instructions in the manual (the connection hose is supplied).
Note: For machines connected to the water mains, it is highly recommended to use a water softening and filtration kit (as for a professional espresso machine). This kit is essential to ensure the water is safe for your machine and will provide better taste for your espresso. If the water is not filtered, you risk damaging your machine in the long run and having the warranty voided by the brand for lack of maintenance.
Maintenance of your Bezzera Aria Top PID espresso machine
The prosumer espresso machine Bezzera Aria Top PID allows you to perform a Backflush (deep cleaning) to maintain your machine, using the blind filter and a specialized detergent.
This machine is supplied with a 2-spout brass portafilter, a bottomless brass portafilter, a single one-cup filter, a single two-cup filter, a blind filter for backflush, a steel tamper, an ABS dosing spoon, a group cleaning brush, hose for connection to the water mains.
BaristaDiscount also offers you a water filter and detergent.

The Aria Top PID espresso machine is the more advanced version of the Aria MN.
The PID is, in my opinion, essential for adjusting the extraction temperature according to the coffee used to develop the best aromas. The flow regulator will appeal to the most meticulous who like to experiment with every aspect of an extraction. The BEZZERA Aria Top PID is a domestic espresso machine, but like all semi-pro machines, it will require real knowledge of the art of extracting espresso, or a genuine willingness to learn.
Its internal system allows you to make coffee and steam at the same time, without loss of performance.
Aesthetically, it features all the beauty of a traditional coffee machine, with the famous lever E61 group. A new jewel in the Bezzera family!
