With its compact size (126 mm tall and 45 mm in diameter), the Timemore Chestnut Nano 3 manual coffee grinder is smaller than most smartphones. Once unfolded, the 152 mm retractable handle ensures a good grip with its walnut wood tip.
With its aluminum alloy body and container, its solid stainless steel internal mechanism and its steel conical burrs, the Chestnut Nano 3 was designed to last and to accompany you, whatever the destination.
Timemore has equipped the Nano 3 with the new S2C 660 burrs.
These conical burrs in stainless steel (SUS 420 type) with a diameter of 38 mm are based on the patented S2C (Spike to Cut) design, which allows cutting coffee beans into coarse particles before grinding them completely into finer particles. According to Timemore, this design gives more body and clarity in the cup.
The grind adjustment is made by clicks, with a steel dial located below the grinder.
The main dial offers a choice of 20 settings :
- 7 to 8 clicks for espresso (will not be sufficient for a prosumer espresso machine)
- 13 to 16 clicks for filter coffee and pour-over methods
- 17 to 20 clicks for a French press
This compact manual coffee grinder offers a good grip with its anti-slip pattern to prevent slipping during grinding.
The grind container in aluminum alloy can hold up to 15 g of ground coffee.
The internal 2 ball bearing system is supported by a sturdy bracket, to ensure stability during grinding.
The Timemore Chestnut Nano 3 manual coffee grinder comes in a box with a carrying bag and a cleaning brush to maintain the burrs.
