Patriarche is a coffee that unites the strength of our elders and their comforting side!
This arabica whole-bean coffee is a blend of several coffees from Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala) and Africa (Rwanda, Kenya), all grown between 1200 and 1800 m altitude. The Latin-American coffees bring intensity to the cup while the East-African ones temper it with their finesse.
With its dark roast, you’ll easily achieve a beautiful espresso using a moka pot, an automatic or a manual espresso machine.
On the nose, it is characterized by its powerful aromatics and liveliness brought by notes of citrus, chocolate and white flowers.

After 35 years of experience as a green-coffee trader, Nicolas Bellangé created Cafés Tchanqué: a local coffee brand rooted in the South-West of France with the motto: sharing and conviviality around grand cru coffees. Cafés Tchanqué is a range of Nespresso-compatible capsules and whole-bean coffees crafted from carefully selected beans and unique blends.
Each coffee name refers to towns or neighborhoods located on the Arcachon Basin.

In 2018, Cafés Tchanqué won the Best Espresso Blend award with Le Patriarche. And in 2019 Melanie Badets, their roaster, became Roasting Champion at the Paris Coffee Show.
