The Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 retains all the strengths of the original model, with improvements to better develop all the aromas of your coffee.
The Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 is exclusively dedicated to brewed coffee:pour-over, drip coffee, slow coffee, cold brew, French press, Aeropress....
The quality and uniformity of the grind are ensured by thenew Gen 2 burrs. With aunique two-stage grinding geometry, these next-generation burrs produce a smooth, balanced and complex cup result, with enough clarity to respect the coffee.
Whether you're a light roast enthusiast looking to increase extraction yield, or a medium or dark roast lover looking for rich chocolate and caramel notes, these burrs have something to satisfy everyone.
These 64 mm professional flat burrs made of stainless steel don't burn the coffee during grinding, as there is less friction (which causes heating issues with smaller burrs). You also geta higher flow rate with faster grinding.
A simple and efficient coffee grinder to use
The quality of materials used and its design make the Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2, white,a relatively quiet coffee grindercompared to other models.
Very simple to use, just put the beans in the hopper with the lid, place the container under the chute, choose your grind setting and press the start button!
The grind fineness adjustment is very simple, with a large front dial that allows you to choose between 31 settings in total.
It's asingle-dose grinderwith a hopper capacity of100 g(which was 80 g on the first model). So you need to weigh your coffee before grinding. Fellow also thought to include markings on the supplied container to help you choose the desired amount of beans without weighing.
Under the hopper lid, you'll also finda guide to choosing the grind settingaccording to your extraction method.
Theflat burrs are mounted vertically(not horizontally like most home grinders): this reduces grind retention on the burrs and allows the Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 to be a compact device,perfect for small spaces !
APID(better known on espresso machines), whichregulates the motor speedso that the coffee beans are ground evenly throughout the operation.
TheAuto Stop function: the Ode Brew Grinder automatically stops as soon as all your coffee is ground. Goodbye to the incessant noise of an empty grinder!
Clean use, without waste
The ODE Brew Grinder Gen 2 is equipped withtechnology that eliminates static electricity.
The ground coffee container has a magnet that holds it in place during grinding.
Inside, this container also features a design for easily pouring your whole beans into the hopper, and when it's ground, to avoid getting grounds all over your countertop!
The Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 also has the Grinds Knocker, a small spring-loaded system on the bottom of the grinder that lets you "knock" to retrieve the excess grounds after grinding. A cleaning brush is included with the grinder.
