Rooibos has the unique characteristic of maintaining its sweetness; during infusion, bitterness or astringency will not be present. This drink is suitable for children, as it contains no caffeine. You can enjoy it throughout the day. The house Comptoir Français du Thé has created an indulgent recipe flavored with salted butter caramel. To taste it, you can pair it with a hazelnut- or chocolate-based biscuit, which pairs perfectly with the indulgence of salted butter caramel.
The preparation of African salted butter caramel rooibos is done in water at 95°. If you don't have a temperature-controlled kettle, you can heat water to 100° and wait a few minutes before infusing your rooibos. Otherwise, you can infuse 2 grams of the preparation in 20 cl of water for 5 minutes.
Ingredients: Rooibos, natural flavors, apple pieces, caramel pieces % (milk skimmed condensed milk, sugar, glucose syrup, butyric fat), sugar butterflies (sugar, rice flour, rapeseed oil). May contain traces of tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds) and soy.
