Universal espresso machine descaler 2 x 125ml
Durgol descaler, for optimal results
By using Durgol® swiss espresso® descaler you can perform virtually instant descaling, which significantly reduces the duration of the descaling process.
This descaling is done very easily and safely in order to extend the lifespan of your machine.
One portion125mlof Durgol® swiss espresso® descaler is able todissolve up to 10g of limescale,which is sufficient to fully descale a high-quality household espresso coffee machine once.
Descaling and rinsing machines equipped with a descaling program (automatic descaling):
- Pour one 125ml portion of Durgol® swiss espresso® into the water reservoir
- Dilute with tap water according to the quantities indicated in the machine manufacturer's instruction manual. Start the descaling program. If instructions regarding the quantity of descaler are missing, fill the reservoir completely with tap water until the descaling program is triggered
- Collect the liquid that drains out in a glass or plastic container of adequate size. This container should be placed to avoid splashing. Caution, the liquid may be very hot!
- Rinse the machine with tap water according to the program instructions
- And there you go, you can once again enjoy a perfectly quality espresso.
Descaling and rinsing machines without a descaling program:
- Pour one dose (125ml) of Durgol® swiss espresso® into the water reservoir
- Dilute with the same amount of tap water (using the empty bottle as a measure)
- Let this solution run through the coffee outlet. If you cannot trigger the descaling cycle with the solution (since the amount of liquid inside the water reservoir is too limited), continue filling the reservoir with water until you are able to operate the machine. This should be the case when a total quantity of approx. 0.5 liter of liquid is in the reservoir
- Collect the liquid that drains out in a glass or plastic container of adequate size. This container should be placed to avoid splashing. Caution, the liquid is very hot!
- After descaling, rinse the water reservoir with tap water. Then rinse the machine with tap water, running 1 to 2 times the contents of the water reservoir through
- It's time to enjoy a perfectly quality espresso. To be observed additionally for machines without a descaling program.
