All products 1336 are made in France , in the Gémenos factory near Marseille. 1336 is the emblem of both a historic struggle and a set of values that are central today: respect for workers, promoting local partners and producers.
A brand that wants to create jobs in France
One of the leitmotifs of SCOP TI with its products is to rebuild the Provençal agricultural sector , decimated by the relocation strategies carried out by the large agri-food groups and thus help the small producers make a living from their crops.

1336, that's the number of days that lasted the tug of war between the employees of the Fralib factory and the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever, the world's leading producer of ice cream and tea. Just a few kilometers from Marseille, workers fought to keep their jobs and save their Gémenos factory, which was slated for closure. After raising their voices all summer, then the next, and the next, and after 1336 days of exemplary mobilization, the former Fralib employees finally won by taking over the factory as SCOP TI (Société Coopérative Ouvrière Provençale de Thés et d'Infusions) and by launching the tea and infusion brand 1336.
This symbolic brand offers pure or flavored teas and infusions, 100% natural. All are made in Gémenos near Marseille, to the gentle sound of cicadas by the workers of the cooperative, passionate heirs to this incredible story.
