A few kilometers from Marseille, workers fought to keep their jobs and save their Gémenos factory, which was slated for closure. After making their voices heard all summer long, then the next, and the next, and after 1336 days of exemplary mobilization, the former Fralib workers finally won by taking over the factory as SCOP TI (Société Coopérative Ouvrière Provençale de Thés et d'Infusions) and launching the 1336 tea and herbal tea brand.
This symbolic brand offers teas and infusions natural or flavored, 100% natural. All are made in Gémenos near Marseille, to the gentle sound of cicadas by the workers of the cooperative, passionate heirs of this incredible story.
