The Miele CM 5315 Active bean-to-cup coffee machine is a coffee makerwith a sleek and modern look. Its finishes made in Switzerland are particularly well-crafted, and itsgraphite grey color allows it to blend into any type of interior. It also adapts to all your guests by preparingup to 10 preparations : coffee, ristretto, espresso, long coffee, café latte, cappuccino, latte macchiato, hot milk, milk foam, coffee pot (containing 3 to 6 cups).

On this bean-to-cup machine,automatic cleaning programs are offered: even fordescaling (to remove limescale) as well as formilk pipe rinsing(where bacteria would multiply quickly!).
On this coffee maker, I recommend using filter sponges, pre-filtered water, or at least bottled water for better taste in the cup, but also to prevent limescale buildup in the espresso grinder pipes.
Thebrewing unit of this coffee maker is completely removable: it can be removed and therefore cleaned withrinse under the tap. Something I recommend doingat least once a weekunder warm water.
What we think:
I really enjoy testing Miele coffee machines: the finishes and designs are always top-notch. This CM5315 graphite gray is no exception. Elegant, modern, I find it stands out and enhances a clean, modern interior. It's a safe bet that will be a lasting asset in your kitchen.
On the technical side, this compact model includes all the advantages of the higher-end models: 10 mastered and customizable beverages, plus a OneTouch for two function. The coffee pot function really impressed me too. It's a rare option at this price point and very practical, especially for family gatherings!
