Founded in 1900 by a family of peddlers from Alsace, Marc Bloch established <b>La Semeuse</b> and specialized in importing and distributing peanut oil. <p class="text-stone-700 leading-relaxed mb-3"> Only a few years later did <b>La Semeuse</b> diversify by developing <b>coffee roasting</b>.</p> <p class="text-stone-700 leading-relaxed mb-3">Since its beginnings, the priority of <b>Cafés La Semeuse</b> has been to guarantee consistent taste and quality of its coffees. Analysis, tasting and development shape its daily work so that the coffee acquires its exquisite aromas and savory flavor.</b>.</p>Founded in 1900 by a French family, La Semeuse has always remained a family business. Since its creation, La Semeuse has stayed true to its birthplace, La Chaux-de-Fonds, whose location at 1,000m in a high Jura valley is essential to creating the unique taste of its coffees. Originally specialized in selling a highly reputed peanut oil, the founding family decided in 1920 to give the same name to its coffee brand, thus giving birth to Cafés La Semeuse. Ever since, the priority of Cafés La Semeuse has been to guarantee consistent taste and quality. The brand offers unique, timeless recipes with an artisanal roasting method, so that every cup delivers the coffee customers know and love.
