An elegant and versatile SMEG coffee machine
The SMEG ECF02WHEU White replaces the ECF01 model.
SMEG kept the legendary design with the 50s vintage look, with improvements over the original model.
The ECF02 coffee machine features more functions and an improved steam wand.
All espresso machines in the ECF02 range are designed in Italy.
This SMEG ECF02WHEU coffee machine is convenient to use.
It will allow you to make good coffee with pre-ground coffee, thanks to the pressurized filters or with ESE pods using the dedicated filter.
To better appreciate all the aromas of your coffee, we recommend using freshly ground coffee beans. An entry-level coffee grinder will be perfectly suitable for use with this SMEG coffee machine.
The different functions of the SMEG ECF02WHEU espresso machine
The SMEG ECF02WHEU white coffee machine is programmable with four buttons located on top of the machine.
The new feature on the ECF02 range is the ability to access two operating modes
By following the simple instructions in the manual, you can access both basic mode and secondary mode.
Basic mode (LED lights are white):
- Single espresso
- Double espresso
- Steam (normal intensity)
Secondary mode (LED lights are orange):
- Long single espresso
- Long double espresso
- Steam (more powerful intensity)
You can also adjust the water temperature (low, medium, high), water hardness (soft, medium, hard) and automatic standby (10 min, 30 min, 3 hours).
Other features of the SMEG ECF02WHEU espresso machine
The improved stainless steel steam wand design will help you create creamy milk foam for your milk-based drinks.
The steam wand can also dispense hot water for tea or a long coffee. The water tank has a capacity of 1.1 L.
This coffee machine is equipped with anti-slip feet for good stability on your work surface.
The SMEG ECF02WHEU will allow you to make coffee in taller cups by removing the drip tray under the group head.
An alarm will alert you when the water tank is too low and when descaling is needed.
Accessories and maintenance of the SMEG ECF02WHEU coffee machine
This SMEG espresso machine comes with two pressurized filters for ground coffee and a filter for ESE pods.
The portafilter is made of stainless steel, 51 mm in diameter.
Other accessories: ABS dosing spoon with a tamper attachment, water hardness test strip, steam wand cleaning needle.
The filter cartridge is not included.
Remember to use a maintenance product suitable for your espresso machine to ensure its longevity.
