In addition to the true visual spectacle of the vacuum extraction process, this system produces a very aromatic coffee, with great finesse.
TheHario siphonsare of very high quality. They aredesigned AND manufactured in Japan .
Unlike the drainers (present on theCona), the Hario filter is made of fabric.
The result is a better-filtered coffee with a very nice mouthfeel, free of sediment.
The other difference with classic vacuum coffee makers is that the brewing chamber is cylindrical, which allows better control of the process.
HARIO syphons are recognized worldwide and are used by the greatest champions.
With theHARIO Siphoncoffee maker, easily prepare a coffee with exceptional taste.
- Heatthe desired amount of water just before boiling point (90-95°C) and pour into the lower bowl.
- Rinsethe filter with hot water and replace in the upper bowl
- Addthe ground coffee (14-20g) into the upper bowl.
- Replacethe upper bowl making sure the seal is airtight.
- Placethe burner under the coffee maker.
- Whenthe water starts to rise, stir briefly to fully saturate the ground coffee.
- Whenall the water is in the upper bowl, reduce the flame slightly and stir a second time.
- After60 to 90 seconds of brewing, remove the burner and the coffee will begin to descend.
- Whenthe process is finished, carefully remove the upper bowl.
- Pourand enjoy :)
