Bancha Hojicha is a green tea from Japan, grown and harvested in the Uji region – a region particularly famous for the very high quality of its tea. It comes from the Yabukita, Saemidori and Yutakamidori cultivars. It offers a slightly woody and hazelnut flavor in the mouth that comes from its roasting.
This Aromandise Bancha Hojicha tea is presented loose in a 40 g airtight sachet. The advantage of the loose format is that you can dose the amount of tea you want to prepare yourself, whether it's a full teapot or just a cup.
It is a tea that has all the virtues of green tea and contains very little theine; therefore, it can be consumed throughout the day. Moreover, you can infuse the same leaves two or three times.
This tea is ideal for brewing in a teapot. Nevertheless, the advice we give you for its infusion is just as valid for a mug.
Count one teaspoon of tea for 200 ml of water. Steep your tea in 95°C water for one minute. It is a very short infusion compared to usual teas. You can infuse the same tea a second time in the same way, which allows you to enjoy it twice as much. The taste will be lighter, but just as delicious.
Feel free to enjoy it hot, but also iced. At that point, simply let your tea infuse in your refrigerator before tasting. Feel free to add a slice of lemon or a mint leaf if you wish.
