The number 683 from Dammann Frères is a jasmine-flavored green tea from China. Named Jasmin Impérial because of its extreme delicacy on the palate, it is packaged loose. The loose packaging (100 g for this tea) allows you to prepare one or more cups of tea at will.
Its tasting unfolds in three stages: first a very floral attack on the palate, then a much woodier heart, and finally a lingering cocoa finish that adds a touch of indulgence.
To best enjoy each of these aromas, steep one dose of tea for three minutes in water ideally at 80°C. We recommend following the preparation tips so the aromas can infuse without developing bitterness.
