Green Lion Coffee chose a whole bean coffee grown in agroforestry, thus ensuring the preservation of resources, including the coffee plant. In harmony with various other species within a forest ecosystem, the coffee plants benefit from optimal development, increased longevity, and produce perfectly ripe cherries offering exceptional aromatic complexity.
La Canopée is a single origin whole bean coffee, whose qualities stem from its place of cultivation: Nicaragua. This arabica coffee is grown in the Matagalpa region (La Verona Farm), an area renowned for its lush tropical forest, which hosts diverse fauna and flora. It is this terroir that makes the Green Lion Coffee whole bean coffee, a sustainable coffee.
Indulgence and fruit join your coffee break thanks to notes of milk chocolate, almonds, and cherry. La Canopée is characterized by a fresh attack on fruity notes, as well as a round and chocolatey body. You finish on a smooth finish reminiscent of nuts (almonds).
