It belongs to the "50s Line" range, domestic coffee machines inspired by Italian legends like the Vespa or the Fiat 500.

The high-end components of this Lelit coffee machine PL042EM
The extraction group of 57mm diameter and the portafilter made of brass are of professional quality and ensure good temperature stability.
The brass boiler with a capacity of 250ml maintains a constant water temperature to facilitate coffee extraction.
The pressure gauge on the front allows you to control the pressure during your espresso extraction.
The integrated grinder is equipped with 38mm conical burrs. The hopper can hold up to 250 g of coffee beans.
The Lelit Anita PL042EM also includes a built-in tamper to make your task easier.
Its ease of use
This machine has 3 buttons, each with an easily readable pictogram. The preheating time is fast (about 3 minutes for a first espresso) but we recommend waiting 15 minutes to allow the brass portafilter to reach the right temperature for a perfect espresso!
The functionality has been well thought out with a very simple drip tray to remove for emptying and cleaning.
The integrated grinder is adjustable by turning the ring located above the machine.
For milk drink lovers, the stainless steel steam wand will allow you to make beautiful milk foams as well as dispense hot water.
If you are looking for a multidirectional wand that is easier to handle, you will need to move up to the higher model by switching to the Lelit Anita PL042EMI.
For ground coffee or ESE pods: great versatility
The Lelit Anita PL042EM machine comes with single and double cup single filters for using pre-ground coffee with the integrated grinder and an ESE pod filter, very practical for emergencies or offering a decaffeinated option to your guests.
The Backflush function for deep maintenance
The Lelit Anita PL042EM is equipped with a 3-way solenoid valve that allows draining excess water from the portafilter at the end of extraction and protects the machine in case of overpressure.
This also means you can perform a Backflush (deep cleaning) to clean your machine, using the blind filter and a specialized espresso machine cleaning product.

For the little story, Lelit named this espresso machine "Anita" in homage to actress Anita Ekberg, who starred in "La Dolce Vita".
