Chicory is the drink that will make you forget coffee! It is a caffeine-free beverage, rich in prebiotic fibers, that is both comforting and energizing. It is notably the inulin that nourishes intestinal flora and improves digestion.
It contains no caffeine, making it a good alternative to coffee, and can therefore be enjoyed at any time of day. It is low in acidity, and thus gentle on the stomach — a boon for those who suffer from irritations.
You have in this stick format a natural chicory, but note that there are other soluble chicories available, particularly from the Cherico brand, combined with other ingredients such as cocoa, coffee, or cereals. Don't wait to discover them!
Never sure whether to add a little more or a little less to your cup? With a stick, no need to measure! Each stick contains 4 g of soluble chicory, which corresponds to a 200 ml cup.
For preparation, nothing could be simpler: just put the contents of one stick in your favorite cup, and add 200 ml of water while stirring. Add an extra touch of flavor if you wish by opting for caramel or chocolate syrup, a dash of cinnamon... Chicory pairs well with many flavors!
You can prepare your chicory at home, but also take a few sticks to work, or even when traveling.
