It was founded long ago, in 1882: the family patriarch, Domenico Vergnano, grandfather of the current owners, started the business in the small medieval town of Chieri, at the foot of the Turin hills.
The true calling of the Vergnano family soon revealed itself: within a few years the small shop mastered all the secrets of coffee roasting and coffee sales.
