The perfectly controlled extraction
The dripper Hario SSD-200-B allows you to customize your extraction. A classic dripper achieves controlled flow through grind size. The Switch Dripper is equipped with a closure at the base of the dripper to hold your coffee to develop different aromas and bitterness. Once the desired extraction time is complete, you can press the tab and the flow will go directly into your cup.
How to perform an extraction
Place the dripper on a cup, install the appropriate conical filter, press the tab and pour water previously heated to 93° C (depending on the coffee chosen). This step is important to moisten, rinse your filter and heat your container to avoid temperature variation. Empty your container before the next step and place the tab in the high position. Place approximately 45 grams of coffee in the filter and pour 750 ml of water in a circle. After 30 seconds, take a spatula and stir the surface so that the coffee is completely moistened and obtain a light foam. The extraction time remains to be determined according to your tastes, the total extraction should be around 4 minutes. Once finished, all you have to do is press the tab and enjoy your coffee.
