Philips Barista Brew PSA3218/10: A concentrate of innovation
The Philips espresso machine Barista Brew Classic black PSA3218/10 is a coffee machine designed to deliver a quality barista coffee experience at home. Equipped with advanced features, it allows coffee enthusiasts to customize their preparations according to their preferences.
Its classic format is inspired by professional machines with a 58 mm stainless steel portafilter, compatible with single or double wall filters, thus allowing precise extraction and generous crema.
Its black design elegant integrates easily into a modern kitchen while displaying reassuring robustness. Ready in a few minutes thanks to its thermoblock, it heats up quickly.
One of the great strengths of this machine lies in its 250g bean grinder with integrated conical burrs with 15 adjustment levels, allowing very fine grinding adjustment according to the type of beans and the desired drink. Finally, its 2.5 L reservoir ensures many extractions without having to refill constantly.
Features of the Barista Brew by Philips
The Barista Brew PSA3218/10 is also equipped with a powerful steam wand, ideal for texturing milk and making beautiful cappuccinos or silky lattes. A 450 ml stainless steel milk jug is provided with the machine.
Despite its semi-professional appearance, the machine remains intuitive to use. The interface buttonse are well thought out, and the different steps are accompanied by simple indicators. The front pressure gauge indicates the extraction pressure, which helps refine the parameters for optimal extraction.
The front knob allows you to easily adjust the amount of coffee for a custom extraction. It is used to adjust the amount of ground coffee dispensed into the portafilter.
The machine thus adapts the grinding duration and the amount delivered automatically, which avoids having to weigh the doses for each preparation.
Accessories and maintenance
Accessories : 58 mm stainless steel portafilter, single and double shot filters for 1 and 2 cups, 450ml stainless steel milk pitcher, cup riser, cleaning kit, tamper and grinding funnel.
Maintenance: The machine features a backflush for deep cleaning. The machine alerts when descaling is needed. By regularly cleaning the brew group, milk system and various trays, you preserve the taste quality of your drinks while preventing breakdowns due to limescale or residue.
