This reliable and versatile espresso machine allows you to use pre-ground coffee, ESE pods and freshly ground coffee beans.
A successful coffee with ease
The Gaggia Classic E24 espresso machine is very easy to use with just one button for coffee, another to activate steam.
It comes with a "crema perfetta" pressurized filter for one or two cups. This filter does not require very fine grinding, it will allow you to make a good espresso with an entry-level coffee grinder.
To use the "crema perfetta" pressurized filter, remember to put the frother jet breaker tip on and remove it when you switch to single filters.
If you own an espresso grinder, the Gaggia Classic E24 also has two single filters (one cup and two cups).
The single cup filter has a dual function: it can be used for ESE pods, a good option for those who prefer a decaffeinated option.

Features and maintenance of the Gaggia Classic E24
The Gaggia Classic E24 is equipped with a solenoid valve that relieves pressure in the portafilter immediately after extraction, to improve cup quality. The water from the portafilter drains through the open valve into the drip tray. This leaves the coffee pucks relatively dry and the filter will be easier to clean.
