Treat yourself with this Dammann Frères classic! The Nuit à Versailles tea is a green tea from Japan and China featuring delicate fresh and fruity aromas. It contains bergamot essential oil, kiwi and yellow peach flavors, orange blossom and violet flower, as well as delicate orange blossom and pink cornflower petals. All combined to create a true delight in your cup.
This tea comes in tea bags and is very easy to prepare: simply let your tea bag steep in water at 90°C for 3 to 4 minutes.
In 1692, King Louis XIV granted Sieur Damame the privilege of selling "Coffee, Tea, Sherbet & Chocolate" in France... Thus begins the adventure that leads Dammann Frères to establish trading posts around the world in search of the finest teas. In gratitude, Dammann Frères partnered in the restoration of the statue "La Nuit" located on the north parterre of the gardens of Versailles Palace.
The idea of creating a flavored blend inspired by the fruits and flowers cultivated in the estate gardens at that time (17th century) was born. The Nuit de Versailles blend came to life, highlighting bergamot, kiwi, yellow peach, orange blossom, and violet flower. These notes combined with a green tea offer a highly fragrant blend where vegetal, floral, and fruity notes mingle in a royal infusion.
