A tester to evaluate the quality of your water and see if it is low or very hard
This test will determine the carbonate hardness (amount of limescale) of your water before preparing your coffee or tea or simply before drinking it.
Instructions:
- Let the cold water run from the tap for 15 seconds
- Fill the test tube with water up to the 5 ml mark
- Turn the reagent bottle upside down and hold it in this position
- Pour one drop of this reagent into the water then mix
- Repeat this operation until a yellow color is obtained (shake well between each drop).
- Count all the drops needed to obtain the yellow color including the first drop.
10 drops = 10° Kh.
The more drops it takes to reach a yellow color, the more regularly your water will need to be filtered.
We remind you that a water treatment solution is not universal as each geographic area has different water quality. The filtered water capacity may therefore vary from one region to another.
