Features of the Columbia thermal French press
The Bodum French press Columbia is unique. It features a double-wall stainless steel construction, which provides better heat retention and keeps your coffee warm for two hours.
The silicone plunger has a mesh that provides very effective filtration. The safety lid prevents coffee from spilling when you pour it into a cup. Finally, the handle finish provides a very comfortable grip.
An easy-to-use thermal French press
Like all French presses, the Bodum Columbia is easy to use: you need neither filters nor capsules, only coffee and hot water.
Pour your ground coffee into your French press, cover with non-boiling hot water, let steep, press and serve! Or don't serve. After all, this thermal French press keeps your coffee warm for at least two hours. Once your coffee is consumed, all you have to do is clean the French press. Again, it's very simple: just put it in the dishwasher.
Making good coffee in your Bodum Columbia
You may not know it, but each coffee maker needs coffee of a particular grind. A filter coffee maker, for example, needs a very fine grind. A moka pot requires a medium grind. And the French press should be used with a medium to coarse grind so that no sediment ends up at the bottom of your cup.
