A glass dripper for 50 cl of coffee
The filtration system of HARIO has revolutionized the manual pouring method that has existed for about a hundred years.
Thanks to its spiral-shaped internal ridges and its large single hole at the bottom of the cone, the coffee can develop evenly with a dense and rich extraction.
Very durable, this HARIO V60 VDG-03-B dripper in glass will allow you to filter 50 cl of coffee.
For a complete set, you can pair this dripper with the matching Hario carafe.
- Rinse your paper filter with hot water to prevent any alteration of your coffee's taste and to preheat your coffeemaker
- Use 15 to 20g of coffee with a medium filter-type grind or coarser depending on the filters used
- Bring the exact amount of water to a temperature of 90-95°C, just before boiling
- The pouring will be done in several stages. First, for the pre-infusion, pour to saturate the grounds with water
- Wait approximately 30 seconds, then pour the water in a circular motion (to facilitate swirling and improve extraction quality) and evenly over all the grounds without touching the sides and starting from the center.
- When the level has dropped, slowly pour the rest of the water in the center
- As soon as filtration is complete, remove the filter
- Pour and enjoy
This manual filtration "classic" method gives you much more control over temperature and flow than electric coffeemakers. You will need size 3 filters for this Hario dripper.
