With the Melitta Connect app, you can manage many features of your espresso machine with grinder from your smartphone or tablet. Create your own coffee-based specialties thanks to the "recipes" function. Adjust from your couch each of the settings: intensity, temperature, cup length, amount of foam, hot water temperature for tea, chosen bean hopper...
But the app can do much more. Does your device need to be cleaned or descaled? Don't panic, the app contains tutorials explaining the procedure.
The Melitta Caffeo Barista TS Smart features an exclusive coffee selection system that allows you to switch from one type of coffee to another (located in the double hopper) from the first extraction. The flaps located under the two hoppers are closed, thus preventing the beans from flowing into the funnel that is above the grinder burrs.
Switching from one bean hopper to another is done via a touch button. A safety mode prevents the launch of a drink if the chosen bean hopper is empty.
The Caffeo Barista TS Smart guides you through the different maintenance steps: each maintenance phase has been redesigned and will be displayed on the control screen or on your smartphone thanks to its connectivity. Cleaning, descaling, milk circuit maintenance will no longer hold any secrets for you, you complete them in just a few steps:
This espresso grinder has a 3-year comfort warranty. The 3-year warranty includes a free hotline for immediate diagnosis. In case of breakdown, repair is done at a certified Melitta technical center.
