The expert's opinion
DeLonghi combined machines have always been pleasant surprises for me, and the BCO 416.1 is one as well.
It is true that the espresso functionality is in its simplest form, but this makes the DeLonghi BCO 416.1 machine easy to use and very intuitive.
A portafilter allows you to easily extract a single dose, two doses, or ESE pods, with a press of the button on the front panel and that's it. ;)
But for me, this machine is rather high-quality for filter coffee, and having everything accessible on the front panel is really a significant convenience, I love the simplicity.
