58 mm group, stainless steel shower screen for professional performance
The manual espresso machine Kottea CK150S is designed with a professional-size brew group. The CK150S now features a flow restrictor on the portafilter for even more precise extractions.
Both the shower screen and the portafilter are made of stainless steel, which allows deep heating and optimizes thermal stability, a key factor in successful extraction. Moreover, the 58 mm diameter is the one used on semi-pro or professional machines used by baristas in coffee shops, for example.
The combination of stainless steel and this professional diameter therefore delivers top-tier performance while using a simple machine and, thanks to the thermoblock, this machine will be ready to use in under a minute.
Digital display and programmable button, coffee made easy
In addition to the fast heat-up that lets you make coffee quickly, the Kottea CK150S also lets you make coffee just the way you like it thanks to the programmable dose.
With a simple long press on the dedicated backlit extraction button, you can set the machine to repeat the extraction time you prefer, or that you want to adapt to the coffee you have chosen. The front-facing digital screen will display the extraction time to give you an additional visual precision cue beyond just cup volume.
The key advantage of this programming is that the machine will stop the extraction once the water has flowed for the set time. You will then have a coffee perfectly tailored to your taste, without needing to stand in front of the machine to stop it.
Single or pressurized filters, great versatility
The Kottea CK150S machine is supplied with pressurized filters and single-wall filters. The pressurized filters allow you to use pre-ground coffee from the supermarket, for example, or if you have a grinder not designed for espresso. To use the single-wall filters effectively, you will need a grinder with micrometric adjustments to achieve espresso like in a café.
The quality of the thermoblock fitted in the Kottea CK150S is felt in the heating speed and stability during extractions, but especially when using the steam.
With a simple press of the front button, the machine heats up quickly and delivers a steam pressure that opens the door to the world of latte art. An all-stainless steam wand with a single outlet hole at the tip to optimize pressure and control the amount of air injected into the pitcher.
The injection angle is easy to find thanks to the ball-joint movement axis, allowing you to create silky and fine milk foam and even serve a very nice cappuccino.

Backflush for a perfectly maintained machine
The Kottea CK150S is designed with a decompression channel, which drains excess water that may remain on the puck after extraction and releases residual pressure.
In addition, this decompression channel allows deep cleaning of your machine. The blind filter provided is intended for this; backflush is a brew-group cleaning technique that loosens the puck and flushes it into the drip tray.
With regular maintenance, your machine will deliver great extractions for a long time.
