All 1336 products are crafted in France , in the Gémenos plant near Marseille. 1336 is both the emblem of a historic fight and of core values today: respect for workers, supporting local partners and producers.
A brand that aims to recreate jobs in France
One of the key goals of SCOP TI with its products is to rebuild the Provençal agricultural supply chain , devastated by the offshoring strategies carried out by the large agri-food corporations and thus help small producers make a living from their crops.

1336 Scop Ti is a French tea brand whose identity is as strong as the flavour of its teas and infusions is delicious.
1336 is the number of days that the tug-of-war between the employees of the Fralib factory and the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever, the world’s leading producer of ice cream and tea, lasted. Just a few kilometres from Marseille, workers fought to keep their jobs and save their Gémenos factory, which was slated for closure. After making their voices heard all summer, then the next, and the next, and after 1336 days of exemplary mobilisation, the former Fralib employees finally won by taking over the plant as a SCOP TI (Société Coopérative Ouvrière Provençale de Thés et d'Infusions) and launching the 1336 tea and infusion brand.
This symbolic brand offers teas and infusions natural or flavored, 100% natural. All are made in Gémenos near Marseille, to the gentle sound of cicadas by the workers of the cooperative, passionate heirs of this incredible story.
