For many years the Nivona CaféRomatica range has been a benchmark across the Rhine: recognized for the quality of materials used and their robustness, Nivona coffee machines have been designed in Germany and, for most models, manufactured in Switzerland. The NICR 970 is a very high-end model that delivers impressive technical feats in an elegant casing.
This Nivona CafeRomatica espresso bean-to-cup machine now offers very generous capacities for large families: 2.2-litre water tank, 270 g bean hopper. Its coffee spout is height-adjustable to accommodate cups (1 or 2) as well as your breakfast bowl or mug (maximum height 14 cm). Its OneTouch function lets you prepare 1 or 2 milk drinks at the same time at the press of a single button. The machine is also supplied with a 1-litre milk jug.

CaféRomatica NICR 970: an ultra-customizable machine
The colour TFT touchscreen is particularly practical and intuitive: temperature, cup size, strength… choose and program your favourite coffee or cappuccino in a flash thanks to clear text and playful images!
The Nivona 970 lets you program all offered drinks to match your desires exactly. Moreover, it’s a connected coffee machine: control it from your smartphone or tablet. Program and start your drinks from the sofa! This function is available via built-in Bluetooth, simply by downloading the NIVONA-App.
Technology in service of flavour
The Nivona CaféRomatica 970 is fitted with a new, resistant and particularly quiet steel grinder that lets you adjust grind fineness (3 positions) to your preferences: a fine grind for a richer, more aromatic coffee, and a coarser grind for a milder cup.
The Aromatica System percolation unit has been specially designed to reduce coffee bitterness. This system reveals all its aromas. Moreover, this machine is equipped with a ground coffee chute that will offer you the possibility to change coffee from time to time (for decaffeinated, for example).
A Multi-drink coffee machine thanks to OneTouch
The Nivona CaféRomatica 970 will allow you to enjoy 17 perfect drinks: ristretto, espresso, long coffee... a ground coffee chute will accommodate your pre-ground coffee or decaf.
This coffee machine also opens up possibilities for making milk-based drinks thanks to its OneTouch function: prepare your favorite indulgent drinks at the press of a single button: cappuccino, latte macchiato, café latte... in 1 or 2 cups. A milk jug is supplied with the machine (1 liter). Tea lovers won't be left out: the CafeRomatica offers the possibility to select the hot water function very simply.
Design and efficiency: automated cleaning
The Nivona CaféRomatica 970 features the particularity of offering a colored LED system in the water tank! Moreover, it is equipped with an automatic cleaning and descaling program to make your life easier. Its screen combining text and images will allow you to follow the different steps, considerably facilitating the maintenance of your coffee machine.
The OneTouch system's Steam function provides powerful cleaning of the milk circuit for total hygiene. A maintenance kit is provided with your coffee machine.
