In 1692, King Louis XIV granted Sieur Damame the privilege of selling “coffee, tea, sherbet & chocolate” in France…
Thus began the adventure that led Dammann Frères to establish trading posts all over the world in search of the finest teas.
So it was only natural that, during a restoration campaign, Dammann Frères partnered in restoring the statue “La Nuit” located on the north parterre of the park at the Palace of Versailles. The idea was then to create a flavoured blend inspired by the fruits and flowers cultivated in the estate’s gardens since the 17th century. The Nuit de Versailles blend was born… bergamot, kiwi, yellow peach, orange blossom, violet flower combined with a green tea to offer us a highly fragrant blend where vegetal, floral and fruity notes mingle in a royal infusion.
