Coffee is composed of 99% water: this is why water quality must be impeccable to achieve a perfect result in the cup. The CLARIS Pro Smart maxi cartridge retains limescale, chlorine, and heavy metals. It operates according to the professional upflow principle and filters precisely the amount of water needed for preparation.
Thanks to the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®) and RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification), the coffee machine communicates with the cartridge and indicates when it needs to be changed. Filtering your coffee machine has never been so easy with this Jura cartridge!

Filtration capacity
The filtration capacity of a cartridge varies depending on water hardness, and temperature. We recommend performing a water hardness test and recording it in your machine in order to best track the life cycle of your cartridge.>
- at 1-10° dH: up to 750 l
- at 11-12° dH: up to 600 l
- at 13-15° dH: up to 450 l
- at 16-20° dH: up to 300 l
- at 21-25° dH: up to 240 l
- at 26-30° dH: up to 200 l
