10 SAECO cleaning tablets
Effective tablets to clean your machine
Extend the life of your espresso machine by using these Saeco brand degreasing tablets. They arespecially designed to effectively remove oil and coffee residue from your brewingunit and thus preserve the aromas and taste of your coffee every day.
With these tablets, you canextend the life of your machineand it will repay you by always delivering delicious, great-tasting drinks!
To ensure optimal long-term performance, it is recommended to clean your appliance every month or every 500 cups.
How to use these tablets?
Coffee/espresso machines equipped with a ground coffee compartment:
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet. Fill the water tank with clean water.
- Place a degreasing tablet in the ground coffee compartment and press the coffee grinding button.
- Press the brew button to start the brewing cycle. When half a cup has been brewed, press the on/off button to turn off the machine.
- Let the degreasing solution work for at least 15 minutes.
- Empty the cup. Turn the machine on and complete the cycle. Empty the cup again.
- Remove the coffee group and rinse it thoroughly under tap water.
- Reinsert the coffee group and place a cup under the outlet.
- Press the coffee grinding button twice to let the machine run two brewing cycles without ground coffee. Empty the cup.
- To clean the drip tray, place a degreasing tablet in it and fill it with hot water up to two-thirds of its capacity. Let the degreasing solution work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the drip tray thoroughly under tap water.
- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.
Coffee/espresso machines without a ground coffee compartment:
- Place a degreasing tablet in a cup and fill the cup with hot water. Wait until the tablet is completely dissolved.
- Remove the coffee group and clean the filters and outlet channel with the degreasing solution. If necessary, use a small sponge or brush.
- Let the degreasing solution work for at least 15 minutes.
- Rinse the coffee group thoroughly under tap water, then reinsert it.
- To clean the drip tray, place a degreasing tablet in it and fill it with hot water up to two-thirds of its capacity. Let the degreasing solution work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the drip tray thoroughly under tap water.
- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.
