The Chai black tea is a bold and very spicy tea. "Chai" is a Hindi term used in India to refer to tea. In that country, people enjoy strong, spiced, and sweetened tea. Traditionally, this Indian tea is not steeped in water, but in a liquid that is half water, half milk, and with sugar. In Iranian culture, chai tea is steeped directly in milk. In the West, it is steeped only in water. Each culture has its preferences—find yours!
This organic Chai black tea from English Tea Shop is packaged in sachets, so it is very easy to prepare. If you steep your tea in milk, two minutes of infusion will suffice. If you prefer water, four to five minutes in water ideally at 90°C will be necessary. Don’t hesitate to explore the different ways to enjoy this tea; let yourself be surprised by the many spices it has to reveal!
