This electric kettle is equipped with a swan neck offering a regular flow during pouring. In addition, its spout is beveled, thus allowing better precision. These two features allow you to control the flow rate over your slow coffee grind, so you can create the swirl necessary to extract the aromas of your coffee. Its regular extraction allows you to slowly extract your caffeinated beverage.
Its plastic handle insulates heat, no risk of burns. Its wave shape provides ideal grip for handling your Hario Buono kettle.
Adjustable temperature
Simple to use, this electric kettle is equipped with a 4-button control panel and a digital display.
The , allowing you to manage your temperature from60 to 96°C. You can control the temperature to the nearest degree, necessary to respect each of your coffees. A "boil" function allows you to bring your water to 100°C .
A 10-minute temperature hold is pre-programmed, this Buono kettle is also equipped with an automatic shut-off if you do not perform any command beyond 10 min. 300ml are required for the kettle to operate, up to a maximum of 800ml .
Maintenance & Safety
A "dry boil" safety feature prevents the kettle from operating if there is no water. It automatically shuts off as soon as the kettle is removed from its 360°C base. Its hidden heating element protects it from limescale and deposits. A steam vent is present, be careful not to place the holes toward the handle.
Be careful not to touch the body after use, stainless steel conducts heat. The handle is sufficiently far from the kettle body providing better grip and avoiding burns.
To clean the outside of your Hario Buono kettle, use a soft dry cloth. To clean the stainless steel interior, proceed as follows:
- fill 800ml of water + 30g of citric acid
- boil the mixture and let it sit for 1 hour
- empty and rinse
- refill and boil clear water again and empty
