Looking for an automatic machine with a grinder to replace your capsule or pod machine? This Krups espresso grinder will be ideal thanks to its compact size. It takes your coffee experience even further with its many settings. Its very elegant white design will be an asset in your home.

The Krups EA810570 automatic machine features an easy-to-use interface. All functions of this espresso grinder are directly accessible: power on/off, steam, espresso and long coffee.
In addition, the machine is equipped with a dial to select the desired cup length. It also has warning lights: full puck container, no water, cleaning and descaling.
The water volume is adjustable across 3 levels going up to 220 ml—the size of a mug, ideal for the morning. The coffee temperature can also be set to 3 different levels. Finally, the conical steel grinder is likewise adjustable across 3 levels, giving a finer or coarser grind. This setting will affect the strength and bitterness of your coffee.
Krups Essential automatic machine: drinks under control
This coffee machine lets you obtain different types of coffee, ranging from ristretto to very long coffee (220 ml). You can thus please every palate and customize the result for your guests.
During our tests we recorded a high extraction temperature. Factory-set to level 2, it is advisable to lower the temperature to level 1. A too-hot coffee develops bitterness in the cup.
You can also make excellent milk-based drinks thanks to its steam wand. Froth your milk to enjoy both cappuccinos and latte macchiatos. With this steam wand system you can also make milk foam, ideal for preparing a frothy hot chocolate.
Maintaining the Krups Essential espresso grinder
The Krups Essential automatic coffee machine is easy to maintain. A few steps are enough to protect your machine from limescale and preserve the coffee aromas.
- The brew group: Every 300 extractions, the machine prompts you to clean the brewing group. The Clean light comes on to alert you. This maintenance is important for cleaning the brewing chamber to remove coffee-ground residue.
- The descaling: Depending on the hardness of your tap water, descaling should be carried out every 2 to 3 months. Always use an approved or universal product. The descaling program lasts about twenty minutes.
- The filter cartridge: The Krups Essential automatic coffee machine is compatible with the Claris cartridge. It purifies the water and removes residues, so you can enjoy the aromas of your coffee.
