Comptoir français du thé has thought of those who like to start the day with a quality black tea, perfect for waking up. The Grand Earl Grey black tea is crafted on a base of Ceylon Orange Pekoe where the liveliness of bergamot marries wonderfully with the fruity roundness of Ceylon tea. It is packaged loose (100 g) in an airtight bag designed for proper storage.

The earl grey tea is always a black tea combined with bergamot (most often with bergamot essential oil). This tea is said to have been brought back from a diplomatic trip to India by Earl Charles Grey. Contrary to popular belief, there is no single earl grey tea, but rather earl grey teas, due to the immense variety of black and green teas used, as well as the varieties of bergamot and their concentration in the recipe.
This particular loose tea from Comptoir français du thé is a Ceylon Orange Pekoe, it is the best possible leaf quality for this type of tea. It is a tea ideally consumed in the morning, at breakfast. To enjoy it under the best conditions, we recommend steeping it for 4 to 5 minutes in water ideally at 95°C.
Ingredients : black tea, flavouring. May contain traces of tree nuts (almonds, hazelnuts), milk and soya.
