The manual Illy X1 Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine was designed by designer Luca Trazzi, as a tribute to the beautiful Italian espresso machines of the 1960s.
Elegant and compact, theIlly Anniversary ESE & Ground is the ideal machine for coffee lovers who are starting out in the world of espresso.
Very versatile, it allows you to use ground coffee as well as compostable ESE pods.
The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine features a powerful thermoblock for very fast heating time and anECO mode to reduce your energy consumption and limit the waiting time between each extraction.
This machine wasmade in Europe with materials chosen for their durability (including a stainless steel body) and fully recyclable packaging.
A simple and versatile Illy espresso machine
The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground espresso machine is equipped with a stainless steel brew group for good thermal stability.
Its portafilter has an internal system to promote beautiful crema and do the same job as a pressurized filter. So you don't need a high-end grinder to use freshly ground coffee.
It comes with 2 filters: a single cup dual-function filter, for ground coffee or ESE pods, a two-cup filter (to make 2 espressos or a double in one cup for example).
The Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground features aviation-style lever buttons to choose your coffee (one or two cups) but also to dispensehot water if you want to lengthen your coffee.
With theprogrammable volume function, you can easily record your preferred cup length according to your preferences.
Create beautiful milk foam thanks to theassisted steam wand controlled by a lever located on the side.
Its small 1-liter water tank is located at the back of the machine.
With the simplified instructions provided in the machine pack, your first espresso with the Illy Anniversary ESE & Ground will be child's play!
