What characterizes the Specialista Arte EC9155.MB
A compact yet very complete DeLonghi machine from the Specialista range
The DeLonghi EC9155.MB La Specialista Arte is a semi-automatic espresso machinemore compact than its bigger sisters (the Prestigio and the Maestro).
Don't be fooled by its size, La Specialista Arte remains a high-performance coffee machine that will let you enjoy a good coffee or practice Latte Art for your favorite milk-based drinks.
Theintegrated grinderwith its8 different settingshas been designed to deliver a uniform and always consistent grind. You can choose between one or two doses of ground coffee, depending on the desired drink. Grinding is done automatically by pressing the portafilter under the grinder. The hopper has a capacity for 180 g of coffee beans.
In addition, with theaccessoryDosing & Tampingwhich secures to the portafilter, the ground coffee won't overflow and mess up your work surface. It also allows you to tamp straight on theprovided mat, for perfect extraction.
With the"Active Temperature Control" technology,the water temperature remains stable during pre-infusion, to extract all the aromas from your coffee.
The DeLonghi Arte is equipped with a thermoblock combined with an independent heating system, forrapid heating. In addition, this machine offers3 infusion temperatures (between 92°C and 96°C) to adapt to the coffee beans used according to their roast color.
A powerful steam wand and a pressure gauge to simplify use
Thesemi-professional steam wand in stainless steel will allow you to manually create beautiful milk foams. Become a master of milk-based drinks (cappuccino, latte...) for the delight of your guests and yourself, of course! With the"My Latte Art" technology, your milk foam will always be perfect!
In addition, a smallseparate hot water spout makes it easy to prepare Americano (no need to move your cup to make your drink). It's also handy for making tea.
The pressure gauge on the front is a precise indicator to know the pressure exerted by the group during extraction. Traditionally, an espresso is made with a pressure between 8 and 10 bars. This is where the pressure gauge becomes useful.
On the Specialista Arte, the pressure gauge indicates the ideal zone ("Optimal Zone") where the needle should be positioned during extraction. You will then know whether you need to change the grind fineness or adjust the amount of coffee to achieve perfect extraction.
Two predefined and customizable recipes
This DeLonghi espresso machine with grinder offers 2 basic pre-programmed recipes accessible on the front control panel: Espresso and Americano.
You can also modify and save the amount of coffee in the cup for each recipe using the "OK" button. The cup volume can also be changed for hot water, if you are a tea lover.
The pre-infusion can be set to: 0, 1 or 2 seconds.
A cup riser is provided for small cups. When removed, you can use taller cups or glasses (up to 120 mm).

DeLonghi designed this espresso machine EC9155.MB La Specialista Arte for those who want to recreate the barista coffee experience at home.
It comes with a barista kit that is very complete: Small tamping station, Stainless steel tamper, Stainless steel milk jug, dosing funnel for cleaner grinding, cup riser and a maintenance kit : Soft Balls to filter water, cleaning brush for the grinder, cleaning needle for the steam wand, descaler.
A very practical trapdoor for storing small accessories is provided above the machine.
This DeLonghi machine also includes the standard accessories : 1 portafilter, 1 single 1-cup filter, 1 single 2-cup filter.
To ensure a long life for your DeLonghi coffee machine, don't forget the maintenance products! A well-maintained machine will also give you great cup results!
