A compact yet semi-professional Italian machine
TheOscar II by Nuova Simonelli is a semi-professional espresso machine equipped with a heat exchanger.
This quality heating system lets you extract coffee while producing steam, without loss of performance.
At just 32 cm wide, this Italian machine is ideal for fitting into small spaces while still delivering excellent in-cup results!
Nuova Simonelli is a brand recognized worldwide for its professional coffee machines. The Oscar II benefits from this know-how, with professional components, accessible for domestic use.
Other features of the Oscar II Black (new version)
The 58 mm diameter brew group and the portafilter made of brass ensure good temperature stability.
A powerful steam wand Cool Touch in stainless steel with a 4-hole tip: to create milk foam like a true barista, with dry steam, perfect for Latte Art.
This model has no water tank and must be connected to the mains water supply.
The cup warmer on top of the machine lets you keep cups at the right temperature to avoid thermal shock during extraction.
The new Oscar II espresso machine is equipped with a bypass (OPV), for better in-cup results.
Design-wise, the body is stainless steel, except the back of the machine, the top tray and the drip tray which are in ABS black (the grid is stainless steel). With its distinctive lines, the Oscar II is a great blend of modernity and tradition.
A quality espresso machine, simple to use
This Oscar II espresso machine is fitted with simple back-lit buttons to dispense your coffee.
The in-cup volume is programmable (for one or two doses). Pre-infusion is automatic and cannot be changed.
A light alerts you when the machine is ready (this type of machine needs 20 to 30 minutes to reach the right temperature). You can also set it to Standby (sleep mode).
A simple lever activates steam production.
Despite its simplicity, the Oscar II espresso machine must be paired with a specialized grinder in order to extract quality coffee.
Oscar II accessories and maintenance
The manual Oscar II espresso machine comes with a 2-spout brass portafilter, Single 1-cup filter, Single 2-cup filter, Blind filter, tamper and ABS dosing spoon.
This machine is designed with a decompression pathway that evacuates excess water from the puck at the end of extraction and removes residual pressure. This decompression pathway allows for deep cleaning of your machine (called the Backflush).

With regular maintenance, your espresso machine will deliver good extractions for a long time. Find all maintenance products for manual espresso machines.
Note: For machines connected to the water mains, it is highly recommended to use a water softening and filtration kit (as for a professional espresso machine). This kit is essential to ensure the water is safe for your machine and will provide better taste to your espresso. If the water is not filtered, you risk damaging your machine in the long run and having the brand cancel the warranty for lack of maintenance.
