Nivona bean-to-cup coffee machine: drink customization
The Aromatica pre-infusion system is present on every recipe of this Nivona 690. This function is especially effective at releasing maximum aroma.
The following settings can be customized:
- Grind fineness : 3 levels
- Temperature : 3 levels
- Strength : 5 levels
- Aroma (Aroma Balance system) : 3 profiles (dynamic, constant, intense)
You can set the final in-cup volume between 20 to 240 ml. You can brew 2 cups simultaneously for coffee drinks.
Nivona NICR 690 automatic coffee machine: simplified maintenance
This Nivona Café Romantica espresso grinder features an extractable brew group. Thus, you can rinse it about once a week with lukewarm water. This removes coffee deposits and oils, keeps your automatic machine in perfect condition and preserves drink quality.
We recommend inserting a filter cartridge to fight limescale and minimize descaling.
This Nivona bean-to-cup machine guides you whenever cleaning is needed (filter-cartridge change, rinse, spout) and has automatic programmes for cleaning, rinsing and descaling.

I think this Nivona bean-to-cup machine is perfectly aimed at a couple or a family. Everyone will find what they like thanks to the 5 different drinks that cover the main cravings: coffee / teas / indulgent drinks. You won't be disappointed by these essentials. There's even a hatch for ground coffee, which I find very handy if you want to occasionally drink a decaf.
The personalization of drinks is truly comprehensive and allows you to adjust the various options precisely according to your tastes (aroma, intensity, grind fineness, temperature). Throughout the day, I appreciated being able to modulate these different aspects.
The passive cup warmer is effective, I recommend placing your cups on it to avoid thermal shock with the coffee. Good coffee is achieved by paying attention to the smallest details and Nivona has understood this well.
