The EQ300 grinder is synonymous with performance, and the TF305E04 replaces the TI355209RW. A few improvements complete this new version, equipped with an active cup warmer.

iAroma System : It's a set of technologies implemented through the brand's expertise to achieve perfect results in the cup.
You can prepare two cups at once with the OneTouch Double Cup function from Siemens. Equipped with a ceramic grinder, this bean-to-cup machine will win you over; you'll appreciate dealing with a durable material that allows for quiet preparation without overheating.
The EQ300 TF305E04 features the Intelligent Heating System which heats only the necessary amount of water to ensure a quality espresso, and only that amount of water.
Extraction quality of the TF305E04
You'll find a nice balance between acidity and bitterness in the coffees from the TF305E04. However, the temperature of the served drinks is very high. Result: you'll get a nice black coffee. The crema is of good quality. The grinder is adjustable to 3 positions, and intensity to 6 to find the settings that suit you best.
Good marks for dosing and quantities: a good espresso should be between 32 and 37 ml in the cup, and those served by the EQ 300 are 35ml.
This machine is equipped with a removable milk frother. The new feature: it's magnetic and therefore super easy to insert. Enjoy your lattes, and once again with this machine: no difficulty!

Maintenance of the EQ300 espresso grinder
Finding the right machine is ideal. Being able to keep it as long as possible is even better! Maintaining your bean-to-cup machine is essential for this reason, but also to ensure the best result in the cup, and prevent your coffee taste from being altered.
1. Cleaning : The brewing unit is removable on this grinder, run it under warm water once a week.
2. Filtration : adding a filter cartridge to your water will purify its taste, and prevent excessive limescale buildup.
3. Descaling : this machine is equipped with the Calc'n'Clean Programa complete cleaning and descaling program for the machine for extended lifespan.
The steam nozzle and the drip tray are dishwasher safe.

The expert’s opinion
It’s a machine that retains the intuitiveness and ease of Siemens settings. The screen has evolved slightly compared to the previous model: when the water tank needs refilling, for example, a water pictogram now appears on the screen. Nice touch!
The magnetic nozzle is a great idea: it’s much simpler to attach. After trying it, I recommend it. The milk foam served was creamy and indulgent, and the latte macchiatos came out with a beautiful color gradient.
However, I remain a bit disappointed by the grinder; it seems the burrs are spaced farther apart than on the previous Siemens EQ 300 grinder, and even set to the finest position, the grind comes out very coarse.
We’ll note that it’s not the fastest machine, but for black coffee lovers, it’s very good, and you can even make delicious, indulgent latte macchiatos effortlessly.
