This sentence sums up the mindset of the founders and employees of the " SCOP TI" company who, after 1336 days of struggle (against their former employer Unilever: Anglo-Dutch multinational) to keep their jobs and save their factory in Gémenos, launched the tea and infusion brand "1336".
A brand that claims "quality French manufacturing"
All 1336 products are crafted in France , in the Gémenos plant near Marseille. 1336 is both the emblem of a historic fight and of a set of values now central: respect for workers, supporting local partners and producers.
A brand aiming to recreate jobs in France
One of the guiding principles of SCOP TI with its products is to rebuild the Provençal agricultural supply chain , decimated by the relocation strategies carried out by the major agri-food groups and thus help small producers make a living from their crops.

1336 Scop Ti is a French tea brand whose identity is as strong as the flavour of its teas and infusions is delicious.
1336 is the number of days the tug-of-war between the employees of the Fralib factory and the Anglo-Dutch multinational Unilever, the world's leading producer of ice cream and tea. A few kilometers from Marseille, workers resisted to keep their jobs and preserve their factory in Gémenos, which was slated for closure. After raising their voices all one summer, then the next, and the next, and after 1,336 days of exemplary mobilization, the former Fralib employees finally prevailed by taking over the factory as a SCOP TI (Provençal Workers' Cooperative Society for Teas and Infusions) and launching the 1336 brand of teas and infusions.
This symbolic brand offers natural or flavored teas and infusions, 100% natural. All are made in Gémenos near Marseille, to the gentle song of cicadas by the workers of the cooperative, passionate heirs to this incredible story.
