This filter coffee maker and coffee grinder set is ideal for any interior. It combines robustness, ease of use, and an elegant and modern design.
A perfect filter coffee machine for everyday use
The Moccamaster KBG 741 Select Matte Black filter coffee maker is a filter coffee maker that has proven itself. Robust, it was handmade in the Netherlands and comes with a five-year warranty.
The coffee maker allows you to prepare up to 10 cups (you can choose to program it for a full carafe or half carafe). It is equipped with a drip-stop to prevent spills, and a keep-warm system that maintains the coffee at an ideal temperature.
Coffee extraction takes place between 92 and 96°C (the ideal temperature recommended by the ECBC). The shower spray with nine holes ensures that all the grounds are evenly wetted. The carafe is fitted with a self-mixing lid that allows for perfect homogenization of the coffee. Finally, a dual-phase copper heating element adjusts the water flow rate, ensuring an ideal contact time with the coffee (on average 5.5 minutes). Every aspect of this electric filter coffee maker has been thought out and designed so that your coffee is the best it can be. Note, however, that it is important to choose good coffee and the freshest grind possible for your cup to be delicious. In this sense, the KM5 coffee grinder is the ideal companion to your coffee maker.
A versatile and easy-to-use coffee grinder
This Moccamaster KM5 coffee grinder is an electric coffee grinder designed specifically for domestic use and for filter grinds or Slowcoffee (French press, Chemex, V60…). Choosing a coffee grinder offers a significant advantage over using pre-ground coffee: the freshness of your drink. The fresher the coffee is ground, the better the result in the cup (the ideal is to grind it just before preparing your coffee). The taste experience is significantly different.
With this grinder, you can grind 60 grams of coffee in less than 30 seconds. Its flat burrs are made of 50 mm diameter stainless steel and provide a precise and uniform grind, resulting in a harmonious cup of coffee. Note that if you don’t use all the ground coffee at once, it’s not a problem: the container has a lid that allows you to keep the ground coffee dryuntil your next coffee break. The dispensing spout is antistatic and ensures very clean grinding.
The grinder is easy to use: simply adjust the grind with the dial on the front to your preferred setting, fill the bean hopper, place the grounds container, and start the coffee grinder. With a single button you can start and stop grinding the beans—nothing could be simpler!
