The bean hopper is located on top of the machine, equipped with an opaque lid and a seal. The water tank is also very convenient, as it can be removed from the top of the machine, behind a flap. It is fitted with a quality handle.

Thanks to the intuitive dial, you can easily navigate through the different stages of preparing your drink. The machine offers a full range of drinks suitable for home use. You can choose from 3 different types of coffee, to satisfy all coffee lovers at home. In addition, with 4 milk-based drink options, you can prepare cappuccinos, lattes macchiatos or other creamy specialties. The hot water function is also very practical, with 3 adjustable temperatures that are perfect for making tea. Finally, the machine offers the option to program a favorite drink directly on the front panel, making it easy to use every day.
The Nivona 8101 espresso grinder is equipped with an adjustable conical steel grinder with 5 positions that allows you to adjust the fineness of the grind depending on the type of coffee you use. During the preparation of your extraction, you can also adjust the temperature on 3 different levels. In addition, you have the option to set the cup length from 20 to 240 ml.The machine also offers the flexibility to customize each step of the extraction on demand, or to save your preferred settings using the menu accessible on the screen. This way, you can prepare your drinks exactly as you like them, with complete simplicity.
Quality extraction with the Aroma Balance System
The Aroma Balance System in the Nivona series 8 coffee machines offers the ability to influencethe pre-infusion process directly. Thanks to this system, you can adjust the aroma profiles to obtain different aromas and flavors in your coffee. This is done by modifying the pressure and the amount of water added during pre-infusion, which allows different aromatic nuances to be revealed. During our tests, we performed five extractions with the same parameters, except for the Aroma Balance System. We wereblown away by the diversity of aromasobtained simply by changing this feature. This demonstrates that this system plays a role in preparing a coffee rich in flavors.

How to maintain the Nivona 8101 machine
It is important to carry out the maintenance steps for bean-to-cup coffee machines. It tells you when the bean hopper is empty, which avoids waste during incomplete extraction. Discover the important parts to maintain:
- Thenozzle rinsing: The machine performs this automatically when it turns on and off. The purpose is to carry out a rinse to remove residues.
- Thebrewing chamber:It is important to rinse it once a week to remove the remaining grounds after extractions.
- Thefilter cartridge: This machine is compatible with Nivona filter cartridges, which purify tap water and protect your machine from limescale.
- Thedescaling: This step is essential to remove limescale from your machine. If not done, limescale damages the machine's internal circuit, causes leaks and/or less hot drinks.
- Themilk circuit: It maintains itself! When you have finished preparation, simply connect the tube to the collection tank, the machine will send steam to remove residues.
