The flow of the caffeinated drink into the glass is not the only thing that makes this machine pleasant and avant-garde: in addition to its refined design, it was designed for simplified use.
The setting buttons are touch-sensitive, and few in number:
The water tank, as well as the used capsule tray, both pull out from the machine. All parts of the Rise terracotta snap together without difficulty.
The Rise terracotta by Delta Q serves coffee upside down : it does not fall into a glass (from the top), but it rises into the container arriving from the bottom of it. This change in process makes it an exceptional coffee maker. To use it, nothing complicated: press any extraction button to wake it up, then wait for the lights to stop flashing green: the coffee maker is then ready for use.

To prepare a coffee, all you need is a little mineral water (which will prevent limescale buildup in the coffee machine components), Delta Q compatible glasses, and Delta Q compatible capsules.That works out perfectly—BaristaDiscount sends you about thirty capsules when you buy this machine.
If you decide to change the type of drink you want to make (switch from an espresso to a long coffee) you will need to run a cleaning cycle. Good news: the Rise terracotta from Delta Q is equipped with a simplified cleaning system :
you simply fill the water tank (300 ml) and then press the “clean” button for 3 seconds.
Once cleaning is done, remember to empty the used-capsule tray and refill the water tank so your coffee maker is ready for use again.
On the accessories side, when you order the machine you’ll receive 2 pairs of glasses: two espresso glasses plus two glasses for long drinks. As a bonus, 4 saucers that double as coasters.
